Take a copy first, if you may want one
In Settings, under Your data, press Download my statements. Every saved laytime statement comes back as a Word document, one file each, in a single zip. Deletion cannot be undone, so this is the step to take before it rather than after.
Delete it yourself
- Open Settings — in the app, the menu at the top right; on the website, your name at the top right.
- Go to the Delete account card.
- Type your password and press Email me the deletion link.
- Open the link in the email we send to the address on the account.
Nothing is deleted until you open that link. It is confirmed by email so that nobody who reaches an unlocked screen can delete your work.
Or ask us
Write to support@laytimetech.com from the address on the account and say you want it deleted. We will do it and write back to say it is done.
What is removed
Your account, every saved laytime statement, every kept voyage, every stored reading and every transcript — permanently and immediately.
The documents you uploaded are not on the list because they were never kept. They are read in memory and discarded; they are never written to disk, to our database or to any backup.
What is left
Short-lived server logs, which are kept for a short period and then deleted. They exist for security and fault diagnosis.
The Privacy Policy sets out what is held and why.
